Speak Out has internships and work study positions available year-round. Interns assist staff, working on engagements, events, and educational efforts. There is also day-to-day office work that insures the smooth-running of our organization.
We ask all interns to make at least a semester-long commitment. For those applying, campus activism, common sense, reliability, creativity and computer skills are a plus. Women, LGBT, disabled and people of color strongly encouraged to apply.
Internships are unpaid position. However Speak Out is an eligible site for federal work study students. If you qualify for federal work study funds, you may apply for a work study position. Students may also receive college credit for interning at Speak Out. Contact our office for details.
